The Vacuum Tester is a portable instrument suitably developed for measuring the vacuum level inside a vacuum-packing bag.
t's extremely simple and easy to use, considering that all its functions are controlled by two push buttons only. The reduced overall dimensions, the autonomous battery supply and the reduced weight make the Vacuum Tester a pocket-type, versatile instrument.
t's use, along a product packaging line, allows the vacuum level to be controlled directly inside the bags and it's useful - often indispensable - for getting the best product preservation, in a really controlled vacuum atmosphere.
The Vacuum Tester on line controls strictly and continuosly the correct operation of the packaging machines, for detecting the causes of possible operation failures.

Utilization

To measure the vacuum inside a bag you just pack the instrument under vacuum, possibly in s trasparent bag, and read on the display the value of residual pressure inside the package.
If the bag isn't trasparent, store the real vacuum value by pressing the "DH" key, then open the bag, remove the Vacuum Tester and read the value stored on the instrument display.
Considering that the best product preservation conditions can be reached with values of residual pressure lower than 20 mbar, the Vacuum Tester s the only instrument currently available on the market for measuring the true vacuum level inside a package for preserving products.
You can also keep the Vacuum Tester in a sealed bag, full or empty - as shown on the picture - for some davs as well, in order to check the sealing conditions of the package or to check the possible presence of residual air released by the product. This check operation can be very useful and allows the right packaging cycle to be defined (vacuum time) to get the best product deaeration and to increase the preservation time. At the same time, the product colour can be left unchanged, especially for special products such as mortadella, ham, meat-loaf, etc...
