The History

Pietro Fanticini senior (1885-1968)

In the distant 1907 my grandfather, Pietro Fanticini Senior, started producing Parmigiano Reggiano following the rules of tradition.
My grandfather worked in the family's dairy at Villa Sabbione, where we still produce our Parmigiano Reggiano 243, a cheese exceptional for its colour, scent and taste.

My grandfather was a cheese maker and his art had been passed from father to son for centuries.
Thus my father, Giovanni Fanticini, followed his footsteps and started producing Parmigiano Reggiano at the family's dairy.
Above all, he started shipping our cheese beyond Italy's boundaries, to countries where, to this day, "Fanticini" means "excellent cheese".

I, Pietro Fanticini, have been continuing the family's tradition for nearly thirty years. Nowadays the selection of Fanticini products has extended to other typical Italian cheeses.
I personally choose every wheel because only the best cheese can carry our brand.

For three generations our experience and our organisation have been at the service of gourmets all around the world."
