Provolone is a very good cheese, with a characteristic taste;
it has an extraordinary versatility in the cuisine.
Provolone is produced in the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona,
Piacenza, Trento, Verona, and Vicenza.
Our
Provolone is produced exclusively for PIEFFE di Fanticini in a dairy of the
region Veneto.
Mild Provolone (produced with calf rennet; short maturation) is available in the
sizes caciocavallo, provoletta, salamino and pancetta; strong Provolone (produced
with kid or lamb rennet; ageing of 5/6 months) is available in the sizes
pancettone, mandarino and gigantino.
Because of its high quality, Provolone Fanticini is appreciated by our customers all around the world.
