EXPORT quality brand

The Export quality brand is a special marking applied in order to certify the superior quality of Parmigiano-Reggiano, certified through the assurance quality system.
To receive this marking, a cheese has to be aged for a minimum of 18 months and checked by technicians of the Consorzio who will then apply a special oval marking on its rind with the words: Parmigiano-Reggiano EXPORT.
In the case of pre-packed portions, this marking will be reproduced on the label.
It represents for consumers the guarantee of a superior quality cheese, checked and certified just before marketing.
